L'Occitane?

Four days ago on Valentine's Day I bought L'Occitane's Immortelle Precious Set. I had my receipt and the product was not opened. The L'Occitane employee would not refund my purchase and pointed to the small print, 

"Items purchased with cash may be exchanged or a store credit issued. There are no cash refunds.

Why am I not entitled to a cash refund?


I am so disappointed with L'Occitane that I will never purchase their products in the future. They lost a customer.
